Z1 K6 Hinged Unloader Metal Knee Brace
My husband has bone on bone osteoarthritis in both his knees and is awaiting a knee replacement. This brace has enabled him to carry on walking and working. You must measure this unloading brace carefully so that you get a really good fit, but having strong Velcro adjustable straps is perfect so that the brace can be adjusted for the perfect fit. We like the fact that this brace can be used on either leg and you don't have to have a right or left leg brace. The metal frame and unloader spring on the knee enable him to walk and it supports his leg when doing a 12 hour shift comfortably. I have recommended this brace to a number of our friends. Although the brace is over £100 + the quality of the build and comfort is worth every penny and not as expensive as many alternative devices that cost any where from £200 - £1000 +

Z1 K6 Hinged Unloader Metal Knee Brace
I am so thankful for this brace. I tore my acl & mcl in December skiing and I was devastated. 4 months later my doctor told me I could ski with this brace before having surgery. I am so thankful for this brace it’s unreal. I was able to get two days of skiing in before the season ends. I am wearing the ski brace in all photos. For me it fit under my ski clothes. I am a nurse :) listen to your doctor and see if you are able to wear a brace like this. It’s worth every penny. I couldn’t even tell I was wearing a brace while skiing. The only time I felt it was while sitting on the ski lift. The metal pressing into my thigh.

Z1 K6 Hinged Unloader Metal Knee Brace
What I like about this brace is that it’s much cooler (I work outside all day long) than other wrap around braces. Does not dig into me like other braces with the metal pieces running down the sides and is very supportive. I showed my ortho this brace and my don Joy neoprene wrap around with the metal pieces in the sides and asked which he preferred for a blown ACL and he chose this brace and said that is his choice for a true ACL supportive brace and best for me as I am always walking in uneven terrain.

Z1 K6 Hinged Unloader Metal Knee Brace
I have severely injured my knee, probably LCL tear, as well as possible meniscus or ACL due to multiple issues with pain and extension. I am between insurance for a month, so I have not been able to check, and my opposite leg was hurting from my limp. Soft braces helped with sideways stability but if my knee fully straightens, it hyperextends backwards, This brace has allowed me to walk normally with stability by taking the pressure off of my knee, as well as preventing it from buckling inward or backwards due to being hyperextended.

My son, who has had two very extensive knee surgeries play sports and this brace was recommended by his physical therapist! He loves how sturdy his knee feels when he is exercising. It is very durable and he can wear it a long time! The measurements were right on and his size was perfect! Really great product highly recommend!
